A stone clad extension expanding the existing kitchen area into a new light filled space with improved connectivity to the wonderful rear garden and views beyond. Like many victorian homes, and especailly considering the size and floor area of this 4 storey stone villa in the Nether Edge Conservation Area, the kitchen was small and dark. We developed plans and a design to improve the useable kitchen, dining and utility areas within the part off the house. A new utility room at the back of the extension provides a separate utility zone as well as a new downstairs WC and better cellar access. The new garden room extension allows the owners to enjoy the kitchen and dining areas with plenty of daylight whilst feeling part of and connected too, the attractive rear garden.
