A timber cladding rear extension to an existing stone and rendered cottage at the end of a leafy lane in Chapel Town, S35. The project was a full re-think of the existing layout of a dated cottage that our clients had recently acquired. We completely changed the circulation of the cottage, re-locating the entrance, kitchen and utility areas. The new dark stained Thermowood cladding extension forms a new light-filled kitchen-dining area, with views out to the garden. New bi-folding doors create a far improved link with the garden area. A new rear entrance gives access to a new utility room.
